Rims - Before/After
well, i finally got off my lazy ass and cleaned my rims the way ive been planning since i got the car. the previous owners really neglected them. you can kinda see how oxidized they are in this pictures. they looked white like salt
so i put the car on the lift, removed the wheels and brought em to the house for the weekend for a major face lift. here's some before and afters. not bad for 6yr old wheels i think.
<6yrs of brake dust/road grime

very nice!!
Dependin on the grade of you aluminum, mothers billet may not work much better than regular mother aluminum polish. I talked a mothers distributor at the ducktail run this year about it. I told him that I couldn't tell much difference, but I knew the grade of my eagle wheels wasn't probably the highest. He said that mothers billet is for higher grade aluminum wheels. If you want a better shine, wet sand with 1000 grit and work your way up to 2000, then polish.
