The 2 bucket system is 1 bucket of water with carwash soap in it and 1 bucket of clean water. After washing a small section of your car with your mitt-take your mitt and dunk it in the clean bucket of water and wash it off really good before putting your mitt back into the bucket with the soapy water.Every time you need more suds on your mitt wash the mitt in the clean bucket of water first. This gets the grit/dirt off of the mitt before putting it in the soapy water bucket which ,in turn, results in less swirls/scratches and a cleaner car becuse the soapy water stays much cleaner. It really works.

Thats ok man-I just wanted you to know to prevent swirls/micro scratches. When you are done washing your car look in the 2nd bucket(rinse bucket) the water will be dirty as hell and alot of times I have to put new rinse water in the 2nd bucket halfway through a wash cause it gets so dirty. Its kind of common sense but it really helps.
    Try it.

I usually just put half the water and half the soap in the bucket and half way during the wash I dump the water and re-fill it up and add more soap. I'll have to try this method.

When you do you will notice how clean your soapy bucket is when u are done and how much dirt is in just the plain water bucket. It also saves car wash soap and if you use the expensive kind like me thats a good thing.
