polishing exhuast tips?

This is a discussion on polishing exhuast tips? within the Showcar and Detailing forums, part of the General Help category; what can i use to polishing up Borla Exhaust Tips? Mine are completely covered with crud and don't look anything ...

    polishing exhuast tips?

    what can i use to polishing up Borla Exhaust Tips? Mine are completely covered with crud and don't look anything like this picture....

    I use Gords Aluminum Polish on mine. But I dont know how bad yours are.

    Use Castrol Super Clean first. Spray it on, wait 2 minutes and rinse. Then polish them using you favorite product.

    yeah, my tips are pretty trashed...is it worth trying to take them off and soaking them or something? might be a lot easier to get to all the little nitty-gritty things....thanks for all the input!

    I agree with the Eagle One-Never Dull-it can clean up some corroded stuff but it takes some elbow grease

    If they are really crappy you can use a wheel brush on them.

    Powerball works wonders too. That thing is a gift from God.

    i have never tried powerball but ive heard good things....i am a polishing expert i have polished stuff from superchargers, intercoolers, throttle bodies, wheels, even a transmission bellhousing....i used to used nothing but mothers when ifirst started out.....then i starting making my own polish like the truckers do

    you can get it from a web site.Not sure if it`s ok to list Do a search on motorcycle lifts wham bam and it`ll pop up.Nothing works better or easier.As long as you can get a rag on them this stuff will clean them.Where can we get that bitchin WS666 badge?
