    Paint overspray

I was at a car show and after walking around looking at the cars, I came back to mine and noticed specks on it. It appears to be a white or silver paint overspray, I don't know if someone was touching something up or what. When I got home I tried some wax and some came off but not the biggest spots. This is on my black 67 enamel. What would be safe to get it off? I tried scratching with my thumbnail with the wet wax, but it only seemed to leave scratch marks. Any ideas?

I didn't try claybar, but if it won't loosen with petrolium based wax, i wouldn't think it would let go with clay.
I was thinking what wold be a safe solvent?

Clay bars were used for years and still are by bodyshops for removing overspray. Get your claybar out and get to work.
