New Product Review: Eagle One Gel Wax

Here is my review of Eagle One Gel Wax With Carnauba.

I would have never tried this product if they hadn't put a coupon for a free rebate in Car and Driver.

I used to use Meguiars Gold Class, maybe not anymore.

First off price, its very inexpensive $8.86 for 473ml about 16oz for you Americans
Plus I have a free mail in rebate so its even better.

I used some cotton towels I bought at the Dollar Store to apply it.

One towel to apply it and I rotated two to remove/polish.

It goes on very easy and doesn't turn black plastic trim white like other waxes....I tried a small spot

It doesn't really haze, you put it on and wait a minute and then wipe it off.

Its seams to work better on Light colored cars my Pewter 'Bird was easy to do.

I did the NBM TA first and it took longer to do as you could see the residue from different angles and I would have to go back to get it off.

If your looking for something thats easy to apply and quick to remove this is your wax.

The cars finnish feels real slippery under the towel once your done and it really pops the Metalic in the paint.

I would highly recommend it for the average car guy who wants their car to look great but doesn't have a lot of time.

Here a few pics of both cars:

Not a good idea to use those dollar store towels. You just put a ton of swirls in your cars.

As long as they weren't like standard towels I think its fine. I personally use microfiber.

Made in USA though? Why chance it? Get some quality microfibers.

    Incredible

Based on many reviews and being curious about different polishes, sealants and waxes I purchased "Menzerna Power Lock Polymer Paint Sealant " from Autogeek.

This stuff is amazing, can't find the right words to tell you how impressed I was. Goes on easy, comes off easy and perhaps (considering the price) you use very very little. I'm not kidding when I say I used 5 drops to cover half of my SS's hood.

It produces a great deep shine and is so slick a bug slid off the hood. I know, I know you think I'm just joshing you, but I know that it happened.

VERY good product. Right up there with Blackfire Wet Diamond.

Menzerna's good stuff. Using their Nano and Super Intensive polishes. When I'm done with my Wolfgang sealant I'll give this a try.

I have been happy w/Mequiars for many years & have never had the desire to switch.

So have I but waving a free product in my face will work once in a while.

This review was more for the average guy that wants his car to look good without a lot of effort rather than the 20 step Zaino guy.

The ease of application and especially the ease of removal make it SO easy and make the Meguiars seem difficult in comparison. Its worth a try.

Amazes me people can spend hours picking out mods, specing out cams and heads, but a few minutes on detailing baffles them.

20 steps tells me you have never used it correctly.

Some people don't have the time to spend hours detailing their car every week. I rarely have the time to spend hours detailing. Unless I do it over a few days of course, which is what I usually end up doing.
