I believe he painted his lid and radiator support, which always improves the looks

Putting it under the hood, in my experience, looks good at first but makes dirt stick to everything way worse after a while. I use a lil black magic here and there under my hood if Im going out somewhere to show it off but I try not to make a habit out of it. Some say that it is bad for the interior too, Ive never had a problem with it though.

Don't sweat it... I've been using Black Magic on the interiors in all my vehicles for about 20 years.. 2 decades and no trouble so far.. Just don't use it on the steering wheel.. Lasts 40x longer than armorcrap and smells way better too.. Years ago armorcrap used to ruin any piece of plastic it came in contact with.. So I tryed Black Magic and never baught another armorall product since. I even use it on the cluster cystal..

Armorall used to be a desent product back when that was all there pretty much was.. But imho they went on to rip off thier customers, with bottles of this for that, and bottles of that for this..BS!.. One bottle of black magic does it all, leather, vynil, rubber, plasitcs, painted surfaces, acrylic(plexi-glass).. It makes things slippery for about a day that's it.. Later you can just use a dry rag and go over it if there's a little dust and it looks good again..

Armorall,, clean then treat, clean then treat.. 2 days later do it all over again..FTL

Armor All is also prone to making things crack/split and deteriorate. I won't use it for anything.
