Mr Luos Need Your Help Here....

In one of the threads posted in the Showcar and Detailing section you mentioned that you used "Mothers Billet Polisher" on your chrome rims. I just purchased some from my local auto zone and when I brought it home the can read: "Not recommended for gold plating, chrome, anodized, painted or coated materials". What's the deal? I thought you used them on your chrome rims? Any problems when you did use them on your rims?

You don't use the Mother's Billet on chrome. Mother's makes a product specifically for chrome.

My wheels aren't chrome, they are polished aluminum. Both the TTII's and the ProStars.

Billet won't work on chrome. Return it if you can and try to find a chrome product.

I was at checker a few days ago looking for a polish and found that $hit. Read the label and instantly went for something else. I have black chrome so any kind of light haze shows up instantly, thats why its crutial that I have a good polish to keep the crap off after washing. I can't remember the name of the stuff I use, if I find it I'll let you know what it is.

for a quick clean on chrome wheels i always like using a good glass cleaner,or quick detailer.and when they are newer keeps them looking brand new.

CLG, you could always us Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish. I used it on a set of chrome ZR1's that had some brake dust caked on them. I used different types of wheel cleaners and brushes but couldn't get it off until i used the mag and aluminum polish on them.
