    Meguiars Gold Class Paste Wax?

I ran out of wax so i ran to the store and bought this meguiars wax that the guy recommended (Camaro ss owner by the way !) So after talking cars with him for a while i went home to try this stuff out. Man this is the best over the counter wax i have ever used !

I was wondering if anyone elce out there has used or uses this Meguiars Gold Class Paste Wax? Also did you guys get the same result?

    couple quick shots...

I also like the liquid way more than the paste, no residue, but great stuff!

No it's not, it's good but not great.

I used Meguiars NXT liquid, I liked it.

Just a few, there's better on my photobucket... All though keep in mind a wax is not a polish...

i had the liquid nxt and i do not like it ... it does leave a great shine but it is so hard to get off for some reason ... maybe i am not giving it ample time to dry? i will try that stuff again next time and wait longer for it to dry

I say if you are serious about your car. Try and steer clear from over the counter.

Now, when I did my old Trans Am. I only used stuff over the counter and did everything by hand. Mainly to show a friend, you can truly get a nice shine, with out spending allot of money... I will not do that again, my arm hurts thinking about it...

i do everything by hand with my car. I need to order some good wax but im not really into spending the money. The last wax i was looking at was around 80 bucks. Thats kind of steep for my pockets (full time student and working part time).

Is there anything out there that is a bit cheaper with close results to the high end stuff?

It's not that over the counter is bad, I just think online you can order something for a bit more, but will last longer.

For once, I will have to agree with Shines. I've seen some awesome results of Zaino products on here that a couple of guys have applied on their cars. I've been using Meguiar's Gold Class liquid on all my vehicles only because of the convenience while I'm out in town. I've been wanting to switch over to the Zaino for a long while now, but something always seems to come up and divert me away from my hobbies

Shines, are you referring to the Zaino Bros. show car polish when you talk about ordering online or no?

Zaino is good, but I become a fan of Dodo Products. Yes, a bit pricey then what most want to pay. But the results is damn close to Swissvax for 1/4-1/2 the price. Still last for a some time, so it's durable. Plus like Ziano, a little goes a long way. But since a little goes a long way, also since Dodo is not exactly bank breaking. Plus since it's Durable, I feel in the end. That it will be close to the price of over the counter.
