Looks great. What do u do around the vinyl on the Shelby mustang? I noticed you don't tape off there, but imagine a buffer wouldn't want to run over that. You just detail spray or hand apply sealant?

Yeah, it looks like it can really numb your butt up on a long cruise...
Yea I like the look of it, and how they are styled but would def not take one on a cross country trip.

Are you referring to the racing stripes?
Fro this Shelby I've used a real mild compound; finesse polish with a soft polishing pad.
I normally taoe off the edges where I don't want polish residue to get on.
Since I didn't tape them off, they must've been painted. I don't remember

Even if they're vinyl, I still run the buffer over it if they have blemishes or oxidation. You just don't want to generate heat with the buffer while doing it, just enough to clean it up and shine with the rest of the car. I use a soft polishing pad for that at low speed.

If they're in great shape, I claybar and use sealant.
It just depends. Every car is different. I don't always use the buffer over them, since most of the cars I do are generally in good shape.

The black stripes on the GT were painted. Those had some severed water spots the owner wanted me to address foremost.

BTW, the owner of the Shelby, just bought a GT white with blue stripes. One of four Mustangs of different styles with that color combo.
I should be detailing it in 2 weeks. I will post pics

    Hey!
    Good eyes!
That's 55 or 57 2-door Bel-Air hardtop big Chevy Crate engine, forgot what that was. It's a beauty.
Total resto, it has an Art Morrison chassis powdercoated and the car is all black.
    That's a 6 figure ($) car.
I've detailed that car early last Summer.
I'm not sure if I have pics of it. I will look...

Hey man. Thanks for the good words!

I've been working full time on my regular job, and doing detailing on the weekends. It hasn't been too bad. It's steady work.

I tought about fading out , but I still have customers call me that want me to do their cars.
Those are car collectors and car investor type people, so they're always acquiring amazing cars.
One of them is about to get done with a 63 split-window Corvette Stingray.
This one has a C4 Chassis made by Art Morrison and it will be powered by a ZR1 LS9 Supercharged Corvete Crate Motor. Hopefully, I'll get to work on it. We'll see...

I'll try to post more of my work as the become available.
I'll see if I'm lucky enough to detail another Ford GT this weekend.
This one is white with blue stripes.
It will be the third Ford GT I've detailed in Colorado...
