Anyone use it? results? I've used the meguiars clay bar and it's great. I just wanted to know how the liquid works.

Personally i have tried all of the ICE products, and in my opinion they all suck. The best products ive ever used are the 3M products. They are a little pricey but well worth it.

I heard it sucks for people w/ lighter colored cars because you cant see it when it dries to rub it off, otherwise it sounds ok.

I haven't heard anything positive about the liquid claybar yet. I would stick with the actual bar itself and not worry about the liquid version. I just don't see anything liquid doing a better job than the actual bar.

The liquid simply isn't going to work.

I have used the ice liquid clay, and it does not compare to a regular clay bar. The stuff is messy as well, and it doesnt even work that well.

I like the Ice liquid polish however... it is good for a quick touch up every once in a while

The plan was to try it on the wife's Accord or my Jeep. Not the SS.

That's a safe route. Do you have the liquid claybar?
If you do, try it and tell us how it works
Oh, one more thing, there's a new product marketed as "liquid clay" that is intended for either glass or bare metal. Make sure you don't use that stuff on your car, or anybody's car for that matter, because it will mar your paint
I will find the brand name and post it for you just in case...

EDIT: Nevermind...I didn't carefully read the post. You've specified "Ice" Liquid Claybar. No, that's not what I was thinking of. In any event, try and see. I don't hear much good about it, but it sounds like something I wouldn't go out and buy myself...

I considered purchasing the ICE Liquid Claybar, but I opted for the Meguires Clay bar kit instead for a couple extra bucks. Comes with 2 clay bars, microfiber towel, and Quik Detailer spray, all for about $16.

I like the ICE detailer spray for a quick shine. While 3M stuff works, I personally think its a PITA to work with and not worth the extra money. This refers more towards the removal of 3M waxes and the lack of luck I've had with it. By hand, its been one of the more difficult waxes to remove with a microfiber towel. This is in comparison to Meguiar's, ICE, and Mothers.

The only one by Turtle wax I used is the ICE and the detail spray and like both of them. I have a silver car, so it is hard to see it, but I just go over the car several times. I had a buddy last summer buff the paint, wax etc and honestly it looked almost the same as it did with just the ICE on the car. I am really busy, so I take my car through the no touch car washes and when I get home throw a coat of ICE on the car, the results are great and I only spend about 30 minutes a month on putting the ICE on. I'm always gettting people saying to me, wow your car looks like you just waxed it, looks great.. Normally it has been 2+ weeks since I did anything to it and I only have a carport. But, silver is a forgiving color.

Compared to anything released by turtle wax....it would be well worth the wait to get it delivered.

I tried the Ice Liquid Clay bar and it sucks. I'll stick to the clay bar itself.
