Black/ Silver- 98 TA WS6/ 01 C5 Corvette
I got side swipped.....but I think I fixed it.
So my car got scrapped on the side and I decided to try and fix it myself. Here is what it looked like before any attempt to fix it:
Here is what it looked like after some work with an orbital buffer and some rubbing alcohol :
And this is what it looks like now. I used some very fine steel wool.
Does anyone know what I can use to get the dull spots to look glossy again?1998 Trans Am WS6 - Phantom

I would try buffing and if that doesn't work I'd wet sand and buff.

Yeah I did. Hopefully buffing will work, if not I need to find a good polish.

yep, i'd keep the alcohol off it next time though.
You'd be surprised how much you can clean up something like that with goo gone or something similar. Glad to see you weren't hit that bad

a good wet sanding and polish the hell out of it top it in a paint glaze then wax it
