Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
Voted once a month.
No more than 2 months between coats. Many waxes don't last that long.

There is no such thing as too much really, its not going to harm the paint if that's what you're worried about. Its just kind of pointless. Specially if you're using a cleaner wax which you really can't layer anyway. As long as you use a quality wax two coats is really the most you would need, just to ensure coverage, and you should be set for at least a couple of months. But if you like to do it and think it makes your car look better go right ahead, there is no harm in it.

I finally went ahead and ordered the Pinnacle sovern(sp?) wax. Its like 80 bucks but damn the pictures I saw looked so good. I also talked to some guys on a detailing forum I belong to and they all had good things to say about it. We shall see!
