Hazy headlights
Ok well I picked up my 01 today, headlights are pretty hazy....anyone have any suggestions? I know they make kits, just wondering if theres a certain one thats popular.
Also, the car is covered in fine scratches....whats a good polishand wax to use on it?

Goose prolly gave you what u need,. but i will add.
If your good with a drill, get the 3M headlight kit.
you can even do it by hand...
try 800 grit first, if you need more, do 500.
i do 500/800/1500/3000 then polish them (you can use Meg's PlastX).
I use water with all grits.
BTW, where are you located ni Texas?

Im in Tyler, about 2 hours east of Dallas.
I would prob do it by hand, i dont want to risk over heating the palstic.
I plan to try the PlatX. The hazing isnt bad, that may be all i need.
But where can I find this fine grit sand paper?
And is there any special technique to wet sanding? or is it just keeping your surface wet during the the sanding?
