Has this section really died down or what?

I'm assuming that with most of the northerners putting their cars away for the winter that hardly anyone out there is cleaning their cars.

    Just been busy as hell.

Julie's mom and stepdad moved in with their two grandchildren, so life has been busy to say the least.
Weather isn't much for helping right now either.

Dont really detail mine much the past couple of weeks. Way too damn cold and not enough daylight in the afternoons(work nights sleep days)

need to get the truck ready really bad...

    Thinking about it...

I have 3-4 cars to detail before it gets into winter.
Looks like Sunday would be a good day to get one of them done. Although, I normally do nothing but watch football that day.

Most of the sections have died because of winter coming. The AAG seems like the place to be. Im gonna have to do a full detail once spring rolls around.

Thats true. But you got to remember these cars are getting old. Less and less to talk about.

There is only a few that remember this forum between 1999 and 2002... It was the most popular LS1 forum around.,,,Bar none......

Then Hell Froze over and the rest is history..

I usually get on during my lunch hour and spend most of it catching up on new threads. Now I spend like five minutes on here and am already caught up.

Anyone plan on trying any new detailing products over the winter?

I am pretty much set with my products. Just have to detail the cars. All three of them.
    Daily drivers....
    1. Wash (gold class, sheepskin mitt)
    2. Prima Swirl (if the paint needs it)
    3. Prima Amigo
    4. RejeX

    Trans Am....
    1. Wash (depends on process, but mostly gold class if I will be detailing it, sheepskin mitt)
    2. Menzerna
    3. Prima Finish
    4. Prima Amigo
    5. 2 coats of Victoria's Concours Red

    Snow tomorrow I guess.

I'll probably try some scratch x from meguiars to see how it works on my swirls. Of course, I'll still be detailing mine as usual since it never snows here.

    What part?

The RejeX works great, shines decent, and holds up for much longer than any wax. The DD's sit outside.

The Victoria's Concours is just an outstanding wax. Great protection, shine, and depth. But doesn't last too long....but the car sits in a garage.
