I never really 'winterize' mine. Stays ready to drive all year. Just sits for weeks at a time.

These wheels are back on the car....
They look better on the car than the garage floor though.

Thats because they looked awesome before.

RejeX is the shit. Holds up great, the protection is insane. Anything on the barrels wipes right up.

    Thanks.

I wanted to get them done last night so I could put them on and take the car into the hills today. Worked out.
Weather is about to slide here as well. Almost 80 today though.

The car looked great today....several compliments while I was taking pics.

I believe it would. I don't have anything in chrome though, so I don't know for sure.

I do use RejeX on the Vibe and Grand Am's paint as well.
I don't use it on the outsides of the wheels though.

Are your wheels chrome? Are they factory?

Rejex will work on chrome too, even on glass...

What are you guys' thoughts on Mothers chrome polish. It may not be top of the line, but it seemed to work pretty good on my wheels and on the glass. It took a couple tries to get all the water spots off (especially on the t-tops) but the glass looks super reflective now and it beads like crazy.

It depends on what you are using it on.

Both my sets of wheels are polished aluminum. I use 'Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish' on the barrels, then coat them with RejeX. I use 'Mother's Billet Polish' on the outsides of the wheels.

Cool, thanks. I have some mothers mag and aluminum polish that i use on the wheels of my fathers truck. But the zo6's on my car are chrome. When you say barrels are you reffering to the inside of the wheels?

So is that RejeX stuff like a wax that you would apply after polishing the paint on a car for example to, help protect and add luster? And where do you get it, the auto geek store im guessing?
    Thanks

Barrels are the inside of the wheels.

RejeX is a sealant. Luster...not so much. But it won't hurt the shine that polish can bring out. Basicly just protection.
    True Value or google it.

I do use RejeX on the paint of the daily drivers.
