Red- 1990 Camaro
Engine Bay detailing
i have a 1990 camaro RS. just put a carburated 350 in it. lil hot mild old skool corvette cam and headers blah blah blah. lol anywho. i was wondering for some pointers on cleaning my engine with the carb right there? any pointers?

Theres a sticky at the top of the page, but to keep it simple, keep water out of the carb and dont flood electrical compenents. Use can use a bag, rags, or whatever comes to mind.
Use a mild degreaser and let it sit but not dry, then spray off, for the stubborn areas get a small brush and scrub away.
High pressure isnt really the key, you would wanna use a low pressure water hose and make sure your engine is cool.
When your all cleaned up pick up some Cd2 engine detailer and enjoy the results, befor and after pics would be great also.
