Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 Pontiac Trans Am
detailing/wet sanding/etc......
i want to get my car proffessionally detailed
i have tries polishing waxing and all that stuff
the scratches and swirls go away and come back after it rains
this has happened forever
yea i polish then wax it and it doesnt work
i have many surface scratches nothing too serious, but i mean many
i also have a lot of swirls
i called a pro shop and they said they will get rid of all the scratches and have it looking brand new
they said they will wet sand it as well
it will cost $300 but is the wet sanding really necessary?
when i called the other place, they said that my scratches are coming back because my paint is oxidized
so they will take care of that part and do some other stuff as well
they will not wet sand though
this shop asked for $100 only
seems like the better deal but will the wet sanding have better and longer results??
any help is appreciated

I like the idea of having someone else wet sand it. I'm sure it's going to look fantastic when it's done, probably brand new. The good thing is that if they f- it up, they repaint the car. If you wetsand and f- it up, tough shit for you. Either way, you're going to get a great looking paintjob!
