Thanks man-appreciate that. I hope to get a nice stereo in her soon. I have had so many systems over the years and told myself never again but I am thinkin its about time for another for this car.

Lethal, what did you do to get those deep scratches out? I've gone some scratches and dents in mine that I'd like to take care of.

There are a few ways to get scratches out depending on how severe they are. If a scratch is so deep that when you glide your fingernail over it it catches in the scratch-then the best way is wet sanding with 2500 then 3000 grit with a special wet sandpaper(I can get the name if you need it), then using a polishing compound with the proper wool pad-with a rotary buffer. Then use a finishing polish with a foam pad.

Noone I know knows how to wet sand and my paint is pretty old so here is how mine were handled-the following was done and it really hides the scratches well. With a porter cable 7424 DA buffer and a Orange Lake Country foam pad work in Pinnacle XMT #3 swirl remover(if its a bad scratch) if its a medium scratch use XMT #2 medium swirl remover. Finish the area with XMT #1 finishing polish with a White Lake Country polishing foam pad. My whole car was done with #2XMT with orange pad and #1 XMT with white pad because it had bad swirls.

If you dont have access to a DA polisher like the PC 7424 or a rotary polisher then you can get a scratch kit made by 3M. It comes with a Orange foam pad and a Black foam pad with attachment to hook them to a drill. The kit also has a polishing compound and a finishing polish made by 3M which is pretty good stuff. I saw the kit at WAL*MART in the auto department.

Thanks man. It is in the process of alot of new parts right now-rotors,brakes,shocks,headlights,clear corners, and thinking about headers and Y pipe. The paint is also getting corrected with a German polish called MENZERNA. I HIGHLY reccomend it. Using the super intensive polish followed by the Nano polish. So far the results blow these pictures off the earth-no lie-the Menzerna is really that good.

I still have some XMT but I went ahead and broke down and got the Menzerna-and I a very glad I did. I am thinking on going with the Bilstein slp or HD's but they are on backorder. Depending on what the situation is with that I may have to break down and get Koni's which is a little more then I wanted to spend on shocks but I dont really see any other options. I have had my new rotors and brakes sitting here for months because I wanted to get it all done at once and I have been waiting on the Bilsteins. Which QA1 shocks you going with? the coilovers?
