    Detail shop in Michigan

I was looking for a reputable shop in Michigan. Can needs to be completely done up... I just don't have the time to do it.

I need the full claybar wheel out wax etc.

Beyond word of mouth I can't really find anything else to go by.

Go on a few detailing forums like http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/ or http://www.autopia.org/ and join/make a post asking for a good detailer in your area. They will steer you in the right direction. Alot of the members there are pro detailers.

    Good luck!

No problem. If you are as picky as me it is hard to trust just anyone. Alot of the guys doing "detailing" work are not professionals. I learned real fast when I took my Z to a local place. The guy had huge rings on while washing my car and was doing shit like washing the wheels and then trying to use the same wash water/bucket/cloth to wash the cars paint. Unreal. That was the end of that bs.

Yea my first time getting my car detailed was a little awkward. Took it to a guy who's been doing it for years but he hires high school kids. My HS friends worked there when I was in school.

Long story short I had just gotten my car. Not even plated yet and I wanted to get it cleaned up. Had a big car show that weekend.

Needless to say I ran out of time to get my plate at the SOS so I was pretty bummed. went to pick up the car... it looked great to me but I was so happy to have my car I probally overlooked some odvious stuff....

Just as I was leaving the owner pulled in and jumped in from of me and was like stop!!!! he starts yelling at his guys like WTF is this.. you missed this etc....Pull it back into the barn. Basically they did a crappy job.

He did let me use his dealer plate though... lol I was cruising all weekend.
