    Covering door panels

I know a lot of us have the cracked upper door panels. Has anyone considered padding and covering the panel with leather to match the interior. If so where did you find the leather and what was the cost?

you might be able to get replacement panels from a junkyard as an alternative.

yeah I had planned on fixing mine this spring. The passenger door had evidence that it had begun to crack years ago but a previous owner attempted to repair it. Seemed to be holding well. I was going to make sure the "real" fix was done this spring.... sadly the door had other plans. After a month in storage I returned to see the crack had spread 1/3 the way down that part of the panel that cracks. sigh.... damn weather.
