I always claybar before i wax.

Just make sure to wax and polish it, it feels great, but it's unprotected right. You gotta keep it looking great.

Car care is a entity of its own .. Ive easily gone in and spent $150 on shit to clean it in one visit to the auto parts store.. detailer..wax..rags.. chamouiex..california water blade.. california dust mop... tire shine .. chrome cleaner .. mothers polish ball..and now after reading this i need to go get a damn clay bar haha

You must have did something wrong. Because claybar removes contaminants from the paint. Wax protects.
