Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
Carshow necessities
When you go to a carshow, what things do you take with you? What are things that you take to prep the car and what are some things you take for added "effects"?
I have my birth certificate, a 2000 Camaro brochure from the dealership and a 1:18 scale model of my car I sometimes take. I always have my Zaino necessities(Z6, Z8, Z9, Z10, Z16), a few other detailing items and a chair.
I have never been able to bring myself to take any of my trophies out to a carshow, although lots of people do it. I really don't know if it helps or not at times.

I take a few rags....detailer spray.....tire shine....glass cleaner for the bugs I pick up on the way.....always have a first aid kit and fire extinguisher to plop in the trunk for the extra points.....I never take any past awards...I find that tacky and have seen it turn judges off....sorta like your telling them....see I won others so you gotta vote for me.....I just put up the print out showing the mods and sit my ass down and collect the trophies

Bring some mags. A camera. Something to clean your hands after detailing when you get there. Sunglasses.
I do bring my trophys to the show i go to and all the judges ask me about the past shows i have been to. It may be tackey to some but i dont think it will deter the judges from fairly judging your car. From also being a judge myself.

Bright Rally Red- 1996 Camaro SS
First off, "my" necessites, chair, cooler, and snack food. my camera and tripod and Dell pocket PC to review pics. Then the xyz's of car detail (its best to have too much, then not enough) as far as display goes, i have a nice board with my up-to-date info on it, my GM owners manual and brochure, my slp manual, and a small die cast. i dont bring trophies i think they send a bad vibe about a car.

I used to carry around a mirror to slide underneath the car while at shows! you can also buy plexi mirrors for fairly cheap online if you decide a glass one is not for you... if you attend more parking lot shows where you are parking on a concrete/paved surface, the plexi is definitely recommended over glass! if using glass, frames are a MUST!

i had a glass front on my display board, its a "frameless" frame, just has small clips holding on the front. i got a little carried away cleanin underhood and smacked it with my hard, broke the glass and sliced my hand. one of those blonde moments.
