Since your car is red, here is an example of paint correction on a red car and what it can do. This is just 1 stage of polishing too! It can do a lot for a red car. Wax cannot do this.

Something like that should be about 300 +/- a bit. Thanks. Though I posted it more to show you what real buffing is, and primarily that the place you listed isnt doing that for 150 lol.

yeah you make a good point but it seems super hard to find a guy with a good reputation around here that isnt booked solid through summer. Looking at deep gloss auto salon the job seems to be at about 280! This place was just kind of spur of the moment but the guy did a good job of selling the package to me, i just want to get rid of that damn rubber mark!!

Give Deep Gloss a try and dump the other place. I have nothing against that other place, but I'd rather see a nice fbody detailed well. I've seen Deep Gloss' work, its good. You should be pretty happy with it.

Don't let someone sell you on a fancy sales pitch, and DON'T buy on spur of the moment bro. Let the RESULTS of their work do the talking.

Yeah thanks for all the advice!! other than you i thought this thread was dead but i want to make sure i get the right job done. I wouldnt mind paying 280 at deep gloss but i really dont need the shampoo and interior, it just seems like all packages come with that as well lol

Its rare that a real professional won't tailor his services to what you want. I'm sure he can skip that if you want and the price is likely to reflect that. Shoot, I can PM him on the detail forum and let him know to take care of you. Us Fbody owners gotta take care of each other right?

This is just me but I wouldn't have some place detail my car. I always much prefer doing it myself.

Thats easy to say but i dont want to mess up my car myself either!! i have no idea on what to do and i dont have the tools to do the high speed buff thing. Id rather have a professional take care of it so i dont have to worry .. now its just finding someone who is good!

I have a Porter-Cable similar to this one and love it. Prior to using it on my car, I never had any experience myself and they're easy to use.
