    Camaro SS correction (2 days)

Paint was rough on this SS... Heavy swirls, oxidation, and heavy contamination. After 2 days working it over, it looked much better!

    Before pics

You can really see the heavy swirls on the hood here...

After just one panel, my claybar just looked abused.... but the paint was so much smoother afterwards

More heavy swirls and marring in the halogens

Progress and correction! Not perfect, but it was only a 2 stage correction, but still massive improvement.

Checking the work in the sun after correction. Some slight imperfections left, but overall about a 85% improvement.

I have nearly 2 dozen polishes and compounds... I use whichever one works best on that particular vehicle because all respond differently.

Menzerna and Meguiars make some of the best polishes. Menzerna is definitely the best I've ever used.

My car is black, but isn't as swirled as bad. I would love to know the steps you took, and the products so i can try this on mine.

    Great work, and thanks!

Well I washed it, clayed it, then did 2 steps of polishing, then sealed.

The polishing was the most important and time intensive part. Used Megs 105 on a LC PFW on my Makita rotary, then Menzerna SIP on LC orange with the PCXP.

Black is the best and worst color. Greart job on the car but I will be dammed if I ever buy a black car again.

I'm next door to ya in Crofton. I have the Flex polisher and Menzerna polishes. Some day we could hook up and work on yours.
