Best worklight for waxing and polishing a car?

I have a black Z28 and have been waxing it under flouresant lights which seem to hide alot of imperfections. what is a good light I can use to make these visible? Ive heard halogen lights good but have never tried them

Get the florescent bulbs the generate the frequency of sunlight.
That would be your best shot at it.
    Think about it.
You notice shit when your car is outside.
Thats what I use in my WS6 garage and it works nice for general mechanical work too.

I have seen portable units about 12 inches long, almost like a safety light but, carry a small version of the sunlight florescent.
Check the net for portable hand held fluorescents.

When I see some of the detail guys around here post some pics, they use up to 3 different kinds of lights. I would assume the more you use, the more more imperfections you will expose.

Yeah but, there is a point of no return with DDs.
I could drive myself nuts looking for everything in a factory job, and then there is my wife when she drives it.
She can find every thrown rock, sand storm, you name it when she is allowed to drive it.
I don't think my wife and my WS6 get along too well.

Halogen lights are the best for seeing the slightest imperfections in the paint.
