Custom Swirly Black- 2001 WS6 M6
I don think there's a pewter specific wax, I think black is the only color that might require special attention, but that's only b/c it shows flaws more than any other color.
I've heard alot about the zaino products from many members here, no one seems to be disappointed with the outcome. That's the direction I'll hopefully be taking this summer.Last edited by KMdef9; 03-11-2011 at 03:31 AM.

I have some personal recommendations I can give you that will leave you pleased, but first, you need to get a claybar.
It's paramount that you clay your car, you will be impressed how smooth your paint will feel. It will pull crud from your paint where you thought there was none. This will improve the optical clarity of your paint and waxing it afterwards, will be the icing on the cake.
I'd recommend Clay Magic. The fine grade blue one. The red one is too coarse.
Pepboys, or Advance Autoparts carries it.
If you need to know how to claybar, how to use it, do a search, or PM me and I can take you step by step.
For sealant/wax. I'd recommend a sealant it's called Liquid Glass. It's been around for a while and it's been reformulated.
I compare LG to any of the top sealants in the market in durability, protection, and great shine and gloss
I've been using it for a while. A corvette owner recommended it to me a while back, and I remembered it one time I've run out of my Blackfire and with little time to order, I went to Advance Autoparts and picked up one can of Liquid Glass. I've been happy with it ever since...
It costs $23-25 bucks. I'll get it here for $22 and change...
I used it on the black Gallardo and the silver Ford GT detail I did a few weeks back. See it for yourself...
At the end, you could use whatever you feel like. There are some good recommendtions in wax and sealants already posted, and I thought I'd chip in with mine...

ZAINO ZAINO ZAINO. My old pewter z would just shine like crazy. Best product out there. People would always ask me what I would use after seeing it shine. Hands down Zaino.

Some people swear by Zaino, seems to be a long tedious process when first applying their product(s), but fairly simple after that first stripping, claybar'ing, and whatever else needs to be done. We're on the tail end of snowy weather (if not already out of it), so I'm going to coin up for the package, and post back with results in the next 2-3 weeks after I get it in and get it on.
