That's what I thought also until I tried Zaino. Mother's can't even touch Zaino.

I gotta go with the NTX Tech wax its so easy on and off and it really leaves a nice shine plus u can get it at most car part places. its a polimer to which i think protects better.

This may not be popular, but the best will only be defined by the limits that you set.

First decide whether its synthetic or wax. Second, no medium will produce the result unless the paint is prepped right. That means you must shed off all of that wax or synthetic stuff you've been collecting over the years, and start with a painfully polished and swirl-free paint surface.

Then once the paint surface has been polished prepped, pick your weapon of choice. If you want my unadulterated opinion, then for the ultimate paint quality (not just shine, but clarity, range, depth, wetness, quality of reflection, etc) a high quality pure carnauba wax LSP will dominate in terms of producing the ultimate show quality finish.

You also may want to visit Autopia.org, and get familiar with the ins and outs of the world of detailing. Experiment with a few brands and see which one lives up to your expectations. Do not rely entirely on heresay. Experimenting is the key.

Meguiars ... does a great job for me. I have never tried the Zaino. I don't think I need to. I have friends that use Zaino and Meguiars shines just as well for less $$$$.
