Tarminator by Stoners
You can use soap-water too. Let it soak for a bit and they should come off with a little agitation.
Keep the area freshly waxed so they can't stick too much.
Wash-rinse as soon as you get bugs, the longer they stay on the surface, the harder it is to get them off, plus they would eventualy eat into the clear...

I hadn't heard of Tarminator either, maybe I'll look for it. But I've found also that a good coat of wax keeps the guts from sticking too bad also, and like Z06 says, get them off quickly.

Have you ever considered entering a spitting contest? That's gotta be some kind of record!!!!!
on a serious note. I've got some kind of crap on my paint at the moment. we had a rain here in NY right before the blizzard came. Had to put the car away dirty or risk it getting stuck in the snow and salted by the salt trucks. Now I'm left cleaning up the mess.. Kind of cleaned up the hood and drivers fender. Used meguiars paint cleaner. Not as harsh as a bug remover and a decent prep for detailing. it takes some effort but the stains are coming out ok. If it's not like tar or bugs you are trying to chip off but rather some kind of dirt that just doesn't seem to come off you might want to give it a try.
