You know you say that ....but I was thinking on making a set of covers that look like the old style valve cover big enough to cover the coil packs!!

History may be in the works here. Maybe this is how SLP first got started? Stay on it and maybe your last name may someday be as famous as LINGENFELTER, SALEEN, ETC, ETC....

I am serious! You should! I bet it wouldn't be near as hard to do as the air dam and lid you made. If you could do them reasonable priced I bet they would sell. The cheapest fabed aluminum ls1 valve covers I have seen are $400.

When I get a chance I'm going to pull off my valve cover to re-polish them. I'll look at them and see what it would take to make a set.

Have you seen the coil covers that look like valve cover, that what I'm thinking about making, but i don't want to get too much going on under the hood!!

    Thanks

Have you guys seen the new valve covers there making now??? It's a valve cover/coil cover, two pcs. one bolts on like the stock valve cover and the second on fits over top the coil and bolts to the valve cover it self.

Dam now I need to pull of the valve cover so I can see what I can do!!!!!

I want to drive my car some time this year, i need to get this shit done, I still have the (4) pulley to make.

tonight I'm going to finish the lid and maybe start the cover for the wires coming from the anti-lock brake unit

I'll post up some pics as I get stuff done or at least make some progress.

Yeah I have seen the coilpack covers- I don't really like them. I would be interested in some valve covers with a aluminum bracket to hold the coil packs.

Looking at your work- I know you can make valve covers no problem. I bet you could sell a ton of them too.
