so my driver side window is very slow and when you are lowering the window and it gets about half way down it kind of falls a little then it starts lowering under its own power again very slowly. when you are raising the window it is very slow and once it is up as far as it will got it is still not up all the way. there is like an inch gap at the top because the window won't go up all the way. what is causing this. is it the motor the regulator the track what is it. please reply with sny knowledge you have because I hope to get it fixed tomorrow. THANKS

I would say that 98% of the time it is the motor. I just replaced one on my 02 T/A two weeks ago, and it only has 14,000 miles on it. It started out like yours, then it would not move at all. I took the old motor apart, and the brushes looked real bad.2002 Sunset Orange TransAm 6 spd.

Yep sounds like the window motor.
If you roll both windows up and down at the same time alot you are underpowering the driver side window.
We make a kit that makes the passenger window get power directly from the battery instead of sharing it with the driver side window.
