silver/black- 00 trans am,SLP,Ws6
window issue
i have a 00 trans am an the drivers side window will roll most of the way down then stop,then you have to wait a few min's to finish getting it down the rest of the way,also rolling it up takes twice as long.
anyone ever had this problem and what did you do to fix it?
i understand that there is a in line circut breaker an i thnk thats what is shuting it off but what could be causing the overload

yep time for a new motor...a little eBay'n and you'll be all set
here's some instructions for you. its not too hard took me about a half hr

I have done the Driver and Passenger on my '99..... first time is a little tricky.....drilling the holes to find the mounting nuts is critical. Also buy a new motor. I got both from Advance Auto and have had no problems for over 3 years. This link posted earlier is on I used. But yes...it is much quicker and easier if you can find someone who has done this before to help !!!

Removing the BCM on a 99Z28
