    What's the best Iphone fm transmitter.....

    Just like the title says. I just purchased an iphone and am now looking for the best FM transmitter to listen to it in my car....i am looking for one with the best quality sound, and easiest to use. Can someone help me out?~Chris
    2000 Arctic White trans am, ws6 hood, ws6 air box, slp lid, slp smooth bellows, slp loudmouth exhaust,shift kit, rebuilt trans, LS6 intake, 3.73 gears, Shaner S3 p/p throttle body, and a tune . SFC. C6 ZO6 rims 18" in back 17" in front. Drilled and slotted rotors.

    There is no such thing as a good sounding fm transmitter.

    Does the iphone have a 3.5mm jack like an ipod?

    yes it does

    the camaro for me has a stock headunit don't use it b/c headers lm1 and window down

    d/d ranger i have an aftermarket hookup with ipod jack works great

    I just use the aux input in an aftermarket head unit...much better SQ

    Yep, wire in an aux input for the monsoon. I've seen threads on here somewhere but no the FM transmitters will not sound good. Just alot easier to hook up.

    How bout some one just buy one of my decks. I got a clarion usb/mp3/cd player and a panasonic mp3/cd player. Both have remotes

    Both under 200

    I have a a VR3 FM modulator, just got it from Walmart and its OK for a temporary solution, but def hard wiring is waaay better. The "trick" to making it sound ok is to have the mp3 player on a fairly low volume and use the head unit to do the sound amplification. Also leaving the mp3 players EQ settings on flat helps too. Obviously try to find an unused channel.

    You use the CD changer connector (ditch the CD changer). You use your steering wheel/head unit controls to control the iPod. I believe the new ones work with iPhones, too. I have one in my TA, but use it with an iPod (not an iPhone). It works great.
