the back seat (sail panel) produce most of your base... never changed those out, but i have heard some good reviews about an elemental designs 6.5" sub in there. hit the search option, you should find some write-ups and threads on it. as for the back any 4 inch 4 ohm speaker... there really isnt much of a sound difference between different models.

heres the link for the back seat (sail panel) 6.5" elemental designs sub.

I'd suggest avoiding Crutchfield like the plague. I say just get the Elemental Designs, install per the sticky, get the Infinity Kappas, install per the sticky, and get something for the back. I'd go with 6x9s, but that would take some modifications.

Not really confusing...As I've said all along, Kappas in the front, ED 7kv.2 in the middle, and something in the rear, perhaps some Kappas in the rear. Like I said all along as well, I'd put 6x9s in the rear. It'll take some modifications, but shouldn't be to difficult.

    62.7i Kappa = mid/highs (the 63.7i is a full)
    ED 7kv.2 = bass/lows
    6x9 whatever = full

Dual 4ohm. write up: How to replace the stock subs with eu700s

The sticky for the Kappas and the 7kv.2s are up on the top of this sub forum. The title for the 7kv.2s says eu700s though since its a little older. The speakers are pretty much the same, such a new name and a few small changes.

Its just a type of padding so to speak that prevents them from rattling and such. Stuff like Dynamat, Rattle Trap, Fat Mat are all good. I believe Dynamats the most expensive, and Rattle Trap and Fat Mat are the same. I'd do the entire car, but you might not want to tackle something so extensive. Doing the entire car will keep roadnoise down, keep the sound in, etc. Its about like riding in a Caddy vs. a standard car. Caddys gonna be alot quieter.
