What music is okay to listen to in your car?
Alright people, sometimes I pull up next to people in convertible and start laughing because they are listening to ricky martin in their corvette and are about 50 years old. It made me think, what music is okay to listen to? What do you think. I know us camaro/firebird owners can pull off def leppard etc. Anyways, I think even I am guilty of kelly clarkson being on the radio and letting it blast...JK, or am I? This is just for fun people, don't get offended when someone says you can play your gloria estefan at full volume with the t tops off!

I play classic rock a bunch in mine, and some southern rock too on occasion. Mostly play rock of some sort, sometimes some rap (though not much). I'll play some trance once in a while, but I mainly leave the trance and rap to my Thunderbird since it's got the nice stereo system. Some of the oddest things I've had cranked in my car (and really don't care what anyone would think): Johnny Cash, Toby Keith (just about the only country artist I sometimes I listen to), some German hip hop (lol my female friend from Germany gave it to me), some old Eurodance stuff (Eiffle 65, etc), some hardcore rave (mostly Scooter). READ: I make electronic music myself, but my favourite music is still rock. Also guilty of cranking the music from smokey and the bandit every now and then.
Listen to whatever you want, I say.

Listen to whatever you want. It's your car, your speakers, your radio.

I know that, it's just funny sometimes what people listen to. Weirdest thing I've listened to. Cruising down the beach boardwalk, the song Aid's from team america. My buddy had it on his ipod and turned my radio way up with it on. Other people thought it was pretty funny too!

I agree but i'd say mostly rock, a little rap. But sometimes I just feel like listening to Norteno music. For those that don't know norteno is the beaner tonka tonka music!! That everyone claims all songs sound the same.
But then again I only do that with the windows up on a long trip or something.

That reminds me of my buddy in his Mazda he had a long time ago. We had the Camel Toe Song cranked full blast riding around town one day. We stopped it part way in later that day too and parked it. Later his wife hopped in with us and she turned the stereo on as we were driving in a crowded area -- lo and behold the song started blasting past some old people. She turned red. It was epic, hard to stop laughing. We got some crazy looks that day.

Lets see....most of the music I listen to I grab from the Need for Speed games. Most Wanted and ProStreet are pretty good, Carbon...eh.
Mostly rock, early Metallica, Zep, DEFINITELY Alice in Chains.
For the rap, None of this 'all bout my money, my cars, my hoes' garbage. I prefer straight up old school. Onyx, Ice Cube, Bone Thugs...
Industrial and Techno go very well with high speeds and aggressive driving. (Sidenote, defensive driving is fine. But like in sports, war, love, and everything else, the best defense is a good offense)
Always drive safe.

It depends on my mood. I have a nice hitting system in everything I drive. I can say mostly rap more old school in the car. Sometimes classic rock VH,AC/DC,Rush,Led Zepplin etc.
I also was a metal head when I used to skate so I enjoy some Slayer,Metallica,Iron Maiden, etc.
The radio sucks ass so usually a MP3 or WMA disc that has at least 150 tracks.
Some Pac,E-40,or RBL tends to make my right foot get heavy.Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

The strangest music I've listened to with T-tops out is some classical music, like violins and shit. I used to play trombone so I like instrumental stuff. I make up for it with some Godsmack though.
