    what amp?

if i went with a 4 channel amp would this be enough to power the 6.5s up front, the 6.5s right behind passenger and drivers head and a 10" sub? i don't really know dick about stereo components, just wanting to get decent sound and found a good deal on a 4 channel alpine

Use the 4 channel for the components and a seperate amp for the sub

Yeah, with a 5 channel but I would seriously not recommend it.

using a 4 channel, you can amp the front 2 speakers, then bridge the other 2 channels and power the sub.
