Wanting to adjust my custom stereo set up

So, I am considering taking out my two 12" Kicker sub from the hatch and building a new box for just one 12. I would also like to put the rear hatch panels back in as I took them out to fit my subs. Had the plan to fiberglass the back hatch around the subs, but have sense decided against it.

Can I run my rear hatch speakers plus the one sub from my 400watt amp? Forgive my novice-ness.

You should be able to. What are the ohm ratings of the subs? This will determine how to best wire them. Also, what are the specs on the amp?

Yours is a mono amp that rates up to 400w @ 2 ohms. Wire them like this for 4ohm or this for 2ohm to get the most out of the amp. Take a look on the magnets on the subs- it should tell you. The CompVR was offered as either a 2ohm or 4ohm dual voice coil.
