SOM- 2002 SS
Use sail or rearmost speaker for amp input?
I indirectly asked this question in a different post but wanted to know if the factory monsoon puts more power to the mids in the sail panel vs the rearmost speakers?
My current setup was removed from my 01 z and I used the mid woofer for the line output converter and it pounded. I reinstalled the EXACT setup into my 02 ss and the ONLY difference (didnt even move the gain, bass boost etc) was I used the rearmost speaker for input and it doesnt hit nearly as hard.
I think the rear speaker is a full range? not that it would matter as the amp has a x-over etc but I'm thinking the power to the woofer was greater and therefore a stronger or louder signal to the amp? that make sense at all?
