T/A Driving Light Turn Off Conversion

hey guys, im having a problem with my 99 T/As driving lights and turn signal bulb in the front. I have the common problem of the bulbs burning out constantly.

But what I want to do is actually rewire the bulb plastic plug piece so that my driving lights do not come on ever. I only want my turn signal lights to come on. I know this is problem illegal but i really dont care.

Im curious if anyone has ever done this conversion or heard of it and knows what to do. The bulbs heat up to much and burst if a little moisture ever gets in the contacts. it really sucks... plus i dont like having orange lights all the time on my pewter colored car, its kinda ugly so if anyone knows how to fix this problem please let me know. Im not scared to get into a little wiring or buy new bulb plastic plug-ins.

Get new sockets and lenses.. solved my prob.. and as far as the driving lights coming on.. I was told that if you pull the radio.. there is a module behind there.. unplug the blue wire, and the lights won't come on automatically..

You can get the DRLS both for under 60 shipped(ebay even cheaper) The sockets are 8 bucks a peice at autozone. Use a lot of dielectric grease and if you want to go hardcore the sponsor Autotrix(gnomee is his screen name I think) Anyway he sells really think grommets to prevent water from entering...

I dont know about local laws but I run white turn signals
