    The More The Marrier............

I had MANY different combos over the years.........Including lots of different "woofer beds" back in the day when mini trucks were the shit.
After trial and error for years smaller with more woofers sounds better and tighter.
    My set-up with 8-8's sounded better than 4-15's & 2-12's,6-12's,8-10's,& last but not least I tried 2-18's & 2-10's.
Needless to say the 3-10's will sound better.........Tighter and respond faster than the 2-12's!!!
BUT IT NEEDS TO BE SET-UP RIGHT!!!! As in the right airspaced box a decent amp & x-over and NO SWAP-MEET JAP JUNK!!!!!!
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

WOW thats a lot of systems, I'm sure your neighbors loved you haha.
Thanks for the tips. I was thinking of using Subthump custom box. They offer 2x12's or 3x10's and I wanted to get your guys thoughts. I'm not sure if those boxes are build to spec since there is only so much room back there.

Well, I guess it depends on how much room you have. I use my t-tops so I was limited to the sides of the hatch. Could have gone with 12's, but that would have been too much customization for the rear area, so I just went with two 10s. Plus, when my hatch cover is on, it's totally clean lookin.

I got the subthump box with the ttop space, great box. I put 2 12 Memphis Power Reference. Sounds great. Had the police come and tell me that too. haha.

I'm still on the fence about the t-top box. How well does it work and are they stable when you slide them in the back? Do you need anything like a towel so the glass doesnt rub?

Its not bad. Its in position pretty good. I didnt want to put the ttops in the back seat, so i chose this. The ttops sit firmly in the space, they dont move at all. I use a towel cuz they do rub against each other when u put them in the space.

Does the stock t-top trays at the bottom have to be removed as well?

my 1 12 inch kicker XPL sounds mint...ive heard 2 12s, 2 10s, 3 10, 2 15,s all before and generaly there waaay to loud unless your TRYING to lose your hearing and rattle your car in pieces ...my vote would be fore 2 10s or 1 12.....anything more is rediculous......with a good amp anyways
