    Sub wiring question?

    Hey guys, will this work?

I have a 4 ch amp. i want the two front ch. to run my mids and highs. So can i use the rear lft ch. to run one voice coil and the right rear ch. to run the other coil? My sub is a 6 ohm jl audio 8w6 dvc. Thanks for the help guys.

It will work but the higher impedance means you'll get less power than you would if the sub were dual 4ohms. It would also be best to run a mono subwoofer signal.

Yeah, I forgot that if i used a 4 ch amp it would be harder to tune the base than with just a mono amp. Ordered a sub amp and a 2 ch amp for mids/highs. Thanks for all your help Rascal.
