    rockford pro 10's they are spendy but usually if you look around you can find factory seconds with waranty. I had three 12's in an s10 with a phoenix gold mps2500 running in series to the tune of about 900 watts at half olm (yes that is possible with older phoenix golds all day long) and with the rockford pro's I hit 143 dbl bad to the bone.

    most amps built today can't keep up at a 1ohm load for long it will get fried unless you can find yourself an old phoenix gold to refurb. my mps 2500 lasted from 1992 to 2003 when I pulled it out of my s10 to sell it amp is still in perfect condition and they were the most indestructible things made. (not the new ones though)
