    sub setup

Just installed a 10" JL w3v2 in a stealth box w/ a JL 250w mono block amp. All i can say is wow, JL knows their shit. Hits hard as hell, sounds super clean. Sounds way better than the 2 12'' type e's with 1000w amp i had in my sti. JL FTMFW!!!

I wouldn't think the little 10 in a stealth box would really hit that hard..... makes me think....

it does tho . . . combination of a good sub, small sealed enclosure, and hatch make this possible. also, with the jl's st least, not many watts are needed.

I went in to our local audio shop and in their sub room, i couldnt find a setup to outperform their 1k watt amp and 3 JL 10's it was crisp and yet hit hard...

    i like the sound of a good 10 or 10's . . . usually a more crisp sound than 12's or larger
