Sub issue/ new sail speakers

Here it is. My 10" JL Audio sub seems to be on the fritz. It doesn't fire, but I found that if I press on the cone, it will work for a very short time. What's the deal? Is it shot and I just need to get a new one? Is it a temporary problem maybe due to the suddenly very cold weather and it'll fix itself?

As for the sail panel speakers, one is blown and I'm in the market to get a new set. Nothing fancy either. To tell you how unfancy, I'm talking like something I can get a Best Buy or HH Gregg or something. Open to suggestions on that one. Not looking for the best sound and not really looking to spend more than 100 bucks on a new set.

You'll have to spend over 100 most likely (at least I don't know of cheaper DVC replacements) - look at one of the stickys about eu700s.

honestly, if you had a 10" sub and go to eu 700's you'll be dissapointed. I suggest replacing the sub and then replace the sail panel speakers with a set of full range speakers-just tap the wire that goes to the rear deck [don't use the wiring from the sail panel location on the full-ranges, it's only a low-end signal]
