    strange partnumber Monsoon Radio

i have a 2001 European Camaro, with the Monsoon stereo, (amplifier in the trunk, and 8 speakers), with the UL2 and UW3 rpo code

this is RPO code sticker on the door:

I bought recently a spare radio for less (because of the difficulty of parts in Europe for this car), so i could replace it in the future when it broke

this is a picture of my car:

and this is the radio i bought for spare, you can see it's the same radio

Now comes the strange thing, all Camaro radio's i see look like this: this is picture from ebay

The strange thing about the European radio's the partnumber (see picture) 09351281, is not findable in any parts catalog, or GM site.
A difference also, the 2 big buttons are different.

it's not a big deal, but i found it very strange.

this looks like a radio from a tahoe or a silverado...basically the same thing minus a few buttons that were different.

that depends on which radio station i listen

I know, these radio's are different because of the European frequenties, see the RPO codes UL2 and UW3.
But the strange part is, in my parts manual (or by GM Parts Direct: Your direct source for Genuine GM Parts) this part isn't traceable.

all the other parts, especially for Europe (like special headlights and a different rearbumper) , i can see the right partnumbers in the parts manual.

I bought a USB radio code uui online for a G6 Part # 20834560 NEW. Transplant went fine into my 07 gxp. The radio works and connects to my iphone 3gs fine. Problem is the volume is too loud. I think the radio might have been for a non monsoon system.
