Stock unit sounds better?
I'm having trouble with my 96 system. It is bose equipped, and the stock unit worked, but the cd player wouldnt read the cds. So I through in one of my pioneer units, and found out I needed a line converter or whatever for low/high outputs. I put that in, and the sound just sucked. Tinkered with it for hours on end. I finally said piss with it, i'll try just hooking the speaker wires up without going through the converter. They worked, pretty decent. They just still aren't the same as with the stock head unit. Am I missing something easy here or should I just find a replacement stock bose cd player?
