stereo and window problem

alright so heres something ive never heard of before... i have a 98 z28and it has a lose connection somewhere...it causes my head unit to shut off and when that happens my windows dont work!!!....so my question is can anyone give me any advice cuz i cant find this lose connection for the life of me... thanks guys

just shooting from the hip but does it happen when your working the windows? is so maybe its hitting one of the door speaker wires and grounding the system out.

no its never happened while the windows where working.... im not much for electronics and i dont know what to do about this

Mine does that too. Do a search someone mentioned that there is a break in the soldering in the BCM module under your dash on the passanger side. All you need to do is heat the soder and make the connection again.

same issue I had, fixed it using that thread and it's gone! Only now the headunit has an issue and the LCD doesn't work until I hit it a couple times ... lol

do u guys have pics of the bcm and the circuit that needs to be fixed? i tried the link and i could find any pics ... i guess i could figure it out once im in there but itd be nice to see a pic
