Hi, i have a 2000 trans am slp. I want to have the capability to use my ipod in my car, but wanted to add an aftermarket deck. Any suggestions? Tips? Thx

i would say just pick a deck that you like that works with the ipod and install it, a aftermarket deck will work with the monsoon system, and you can bypass it or direct wire it at a later date.

i have gone all three routes. but it all depends on how much time you want to put in it.

Its real simple to install aftermarket radios.

Many ppl put aftermarket decks for looks and ipod use.

I would get one that has an ipod cord. Not an auxiliary port only. The quality is better and charges your ipod at the same time. Also, you control your ipod with the head unit, so you can hide the wire and ipod away, leaving a nice clean look.
