static/blown noise coming from speakers????
ok...i have an 02 ta and the owner b4 me must have took the monsoon out and just put a stock delco head unit in for some reason...and the speakers sounded like shit when i got it..so i replaced them with stock monsoons and hooked them up like normal and they sounded fine but recently have all started sounding like static/ like they are blown...but i dont think they are blown...its only when bass hits it sounds crappy.. the weird thing is...the cracky/blown noise goes away after a little while of listening to music (5-10 mins) and it sounds great...i have no clue what the problem may be...(bad amp? need a monsoon head unit? please help! thanks a lot

Stock subs sound like crap. They blow pretty easily. I would look into getting them replaced. Makes a world of difference.
