ack... off hand i'd say you are close. i think the tweeters are 1.5" but that's splitting hairs since most aftermarket tweets are .75-1" and pretty much all will mount up. as far as resistance you are in luck. i think all the factory speakers on a TA are 4ohm.
The sail panel speakers are 6.5" Dual Voice Coil subs. the monsoon amp only send low frequencies to the 6.5" speakers that means front doors and sails.
Personally the best bolt on solution for the sails are the Kicker CVT65 4ohm subs. bridge the two channels that plug into each sub now and they will kick pretty good. just ask the crowd at Spazpalooza. I only have a HU and sail subs and my system sounds more than decent.
The hatch area mids are, I believe 4.5" so good luck finding any kind of decent drop in replacement. Best bet back there is to either try to jam a good 5.5" component set in or try to rig up a 6x9 coax set.
The stock monsoon amp is garbage and WILL clip upon getting more power from an aftermarket HU so mind your speakers! Prob best to bypass the amp with any upgraded speakers you get.
That all I have on the top off my head at the moment hope it helps.

Do you know where I can find a wire diagram for the monsoon set up I kinda want to take it out and put my own setup in but it would be easier if I knew what wires went where

Welcome to the same boat we are all in.... i wonder if the factory service manuals have all the wiring diagrams. i've been meaning to buy a set for myself. I try to get my hands on the service manuals for all the wiring vacuum and torque specs for the cars I own.
