    Speaker opinions

    I know that this is an LS1 forum but I also have an 08 F250 and I need to put some new speakers in the back because the stock ones suck. What do you guys think I should go with?? 2way, 3way and what brand because I cant make a damn decision and I need some input.

    If I had to chose between the two I would say 2 way. I prefer component speakers but I don't know how well they would work in a truck. Focal components up front here. Then Focal midrange in the back seats. And the sub in the back. it gives a true full sound to me IMO...

    Ive never put in componet speakers. I have put in about everything else in a car but never that kind of speaker. Is it a pain in the ass?

    Thats a personal thing. If you don't like to do that kind of stuff yea it's a pain but if you like doing that kind of stuff it's no big deal. Biggest problem is getting the damn door panles off. But seeing how it is a newer truck it maybe a lot simpler.
